Plasma BT
What is Plasma?
The universe consists of 99.99% plasma. It is the fourth state of matter following solid, liquid and gas, whereby the gaseous state has been ionised by high temperature and high electricity..
How does plasma work on the skin?
Research conducted by Munich University has demonstrated that plasma is fatal to bacteria, yet provides beneficial stimulation to human cell and helps with regeneration. This makes plasma uniquely relevant for use in skin treatments.
How do results compare to eyebag/eyelid surgery?
Results are remarkable. Depending on the severity of the condition, you may need up to three treatments which would be performed 6-8 week intervals.
How effective is it for treating acne?
The treatment works by killing the bacteria that cause acne as well as promoting healthier skin and cell renewal. Results are not instant, as it takes time for the skin to heal. However, after 2 – 3 weeks there should be a significant reduction in spots, inflammation will be vastly improved and skin will be much clearer. Depending on the severity of the condition and how long the acne has been present, more than one treatment may be necessary.
Does it hurt?
s.
Will I need any time off to recover?
Patients can usually return to work or normal activities immediately after treatment. If you have been treated with the PLASMA surgical, there is likely to be some degree of swelling and you will have a series of small dots around the treated area. These will scab and fall off within 3 – 5 days.
When will I see results?
Plasma BT uses advanced atmospheric pressure plasma technology to deliver a wide range of bespoke treatments.
The system offers two distinct functions:
Plasma Surgical TM
non-surgical treatments for eye rejuvenation (upper and lower blepharoplasty), crows feet, wrinkle reduction, skin tag / mole removal
Plasma Shower TM
active acne, pigment removal, skin regeneration and tightening. Plasma is an ionised gas with electrical energy which works throughout the surface of the skin to the epidermal layer.
Skin surface – kills germs and bacteria by breaking bacterial molecular structure.
Epidermis – dramatically increases the skin absorption rate by temporarily breaking the cell adhesion molecules.
Dermis – tightens aged skin and stimulates generation of collagen and fibroblasts.
Plasma Surgical TM
Plasma Surgical TM – A needle is used to target the plasma very precisely at the area required. This treatment uses a process known as ‘sublimation’ to effectively treat a variety of skin problems as well as triggering collagen renewal. This treatment is ideal for:
- Non invasive eye contour surgery – improve eye-bags and eyelids with a result akin to surgery but involving NO surgical incisions, no scalpel, no general anaesthetic, no hospital stay. This treatment has revolutionised the way Aesthetic Physicians are able to rejuvenate the delicate eye area.
- Wrinkle treatment – non-ablative lifting and regeneration.
Scar treatment and inflammation treatment
Broken blood vessels/capillaries/spider veins
Trouble-shooting acne cysts/spots, skin tags
Plasma Surgical TM
Plasma Shower TM
Plasma ShowerTM – A separate handpiece is designed to remove bacteria and aid absorption within the skin, stimulating skin regeneration and boosting collagen for clearer, healthier and firmer skin. This treatment is ideal for:
- Acne treatment – sterilisation of acne bacteria
- Skin regeneration – tightening the skin
- Pigmentation treatment – promoting a clearer complexion, improving skin tone
Inducing absorption of serums or solutions, chosen to suit the patient’s skin needs - Wrinkle treatment – non-ablative lifting and regeneration.
